Patti LaBelle is an American R&B and soul singer and songwriter who fronted two groups, Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles and Labelle, which changed and birthed a new era of women's music and, in the process, has influenced a new generation of female singers.
Chaka Khan first made her name as the lead singer of the soul /R&B group Rufus, which she followed up with a very successful solo career.
And last but not least, Diana Ross, is the most successful female artist of the rock era and has won twelve Grammy-Awards, in a distinguished career spanning almost 50 years.
