The Museum at Eldridge Street in New York is a celebration of the culture, history and traditions of the diverse cultural communities that have settled in America.
Its tours, exhibits, and public and educational programs tell the story of the generations that carried religious and communal customs to a new country, and celebrate America's broad cultural traditions.
A highlight of the museum is the newly restored Eldridge Street Synagogue and is the spiritual center of Jewish life on the Lower East Side.
