The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is an educational institution dedicated to being the foremost museum of modern art not just in the city of New York, but in the world.
Boasting a vast collection of modern and contemporary art, there are 150,000 paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, architectural models and drawings, and design objects. There is also 22,000 films, videos, and media works and hundreds of thousands of books in the museum's library.
The MoMA is opened throughout the year (closed Tuesdays).
