The Museum of Sex in New York is without precedent in the museum world - one that is dedicated to the exploration of the history, evolution and cultural significance of human sexuality.
First opened in October 2002, the Museum of Sex has generated 12 exhibitions and 5 virtual installations advocating open discourse surrounding sex and sexuality over the past five years and is truly one of kind. There is also a collection of over 15,000 artifacts comprised of works of art, photography, clothing and costumes, technological inventions and historical ephemera on display permanently.
