The Wombats

UK indie band, The Wombats, were formed in 2003 by three friends - Matthew Murphy (vocals, guitar and keyboards), Dan Haggis (bass and additional vocalist) and Tord Øverland-Knudsen - while at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in Liverpool, England.
The three-piece band released their debut album, The Wombats Proudly Present: A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation late last year where it managed to reach #11 on the UK Album charts.
